Located in ‘theatreland’, the Wetherspoons pub is good for a cheap meal or drink, on a night out with friends or for a pit stop during a day of shopping. As you enter the main entrance of the pub, you encounter stairs but the back entrance is step-free. There is a disabled toilet but to access it, you have to use a disabled lift to get downstairs.
 
The Coal Hole

The Coal Hole is a short distance from Charing Cross, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. It is rumoured to have been the coal cellar for the Savoy Hotel! In the Victorian era and where Gilbert and Sullivan regularly performed in Edwardian times. The traditional British pub offers a large food menu and an extensive range of wines and real ale. There is a small step when entering but has step-free access to the bar, tables, and disabled toilet.

The Cooperage

The Cooperage is a trendy bar/restaurant in London Bridge. It has low tables and snacks are sold in the bar area. The slightly pricey venue has a large wheelchair accessible toilet at the back of the restaurant.

Marquis of Granby

Situated in the middle of Shaftesbury Avenue, the pub is close to Soho and Chinatown. There is one big step to enter and once inside, there is a mixture of high and low tables. The disabled toilet is located behind the bar.

The quirky pub is just off Oxford Street, so perfect if you need a break from shopping. There are two entrances with one being step- free. Once inside, there are many high booths and tables, but there is one large low table opposite the main bar. If you choose to eat in the pub, the dining area is mainly low tables, and the disabled toilet is nearby.
 
Slug and Lettuce

The bar is just off Oxford Circus and is good for meeting friends, eating and promotions. It has a step-free entrance but is quite small inside. The majority of tables are low and the disabled toilet is at the back, so it if possible, it is better to sit at that end of the bar.

Traditional Irish pub chain which serves food and drink. The entrance is wheelchair accessible and the tables are low. There is a disabled toilet with seating close to it and you are able to reserve tables, which is useful, as the venue can get very busy.

The boutique cocktail bar is a popular venue for a night out with friends and corporate events. There is a big step at the entrance but once inside, there are low tables, and an adapted toilet.



Founders Arms

The spacious pub is ideal for a summer’s day or night and is located along the river, so provides stunning views of London. A small ramp leads onto the terrace but to enter the pub without steps, you needs to go right round to the other side. A disabled toilet is next to the bar and close to low tables. If sitting outside, however, the pub can get extremely busy, which makes it difficult when trying to get back inside, if you are not by the door.
Mulberry Bush

This small pub is located in Waterloo and a short walk away from the London Eye. It has a reserved area upstairs but the main area is step free, and easily accessible from the street. A disabled toilet lies at the back.

A former Slug and Lettuce, the pub has disabled entrance, which is reached by a ramp at the side. It is quite steep and you may need help to get up. Once inside, it is completely flat, with a large disabled toilet.

The quirky pub is named after the two most memorable landmarks from Streatham’s past; the now sadly destroyed Pratts department store and the very much alive and kicking Cynthia Payne. It serves fresh food and has a weekly quiz.

The spacious pub has a large, disabled, toilet.

The traditional pub sits right on the corner of Crystal Palace. Food is served daily with a choice of Sunday roast on the weekend. There is one disabled toilet.

The Paxton is a spacious pub serving food and drink. It has the choice of a ramp or chairlift to enter and one disabled toilet.
 
Dulwich Woodhouse

The Youngs pub is situated opposite Sydenham woods. It has a small car park and outdoor seating. If you would rather be inside, there is a chairlift to take you up, and a disabled toilet on the same floor.

The newly renovated pub provides step-free access and a mix of high and low tables. A small garden is accessible and the disabled toilet is situated in the middle of the pub. Being close to Wimbledon, the pub gets especially during the tennis.
The Alexandra

The Wimbledon pub is a favourite for sports fans on a Saturday. It has a main entrance on the high street but the accessible entrance is on the corner. If you use this entrance, it is all on one level with a spacious disabled toilet and low tables.

The Windmill

This gastro pun is situated in the middle of Clapham Common, so is great for a lunchtime drink, or evening meal after a day in the park. There is a car park on the grounds and indoor and outdoor seating and a large disabled toilet.

The Cut Bar & Restaurant is situated within the Young Vic Theatre. Set over two floors, there is a lift which takes you upstairs. It is a very central location for food and drink with friends and also good before or after a show. When the weather is nice, the bar has a large balcony with seating.  

The Gipsy Moth

Based in the heart of historical Greenwich, the pub is surrounded by the Cutty Sark, and the Royal Observatory. The Gipsy Moth serves fresh food daily and has a pub garden but this can only be accessed by a couple of steps. The bar area is quite spacious with a disabled toilet.
The Ravensbury Arms

The Ravensbury is a family-friendly pub which serves fresh food all day. The varied seasonal menu includes pub classics, grills, salads,  Sunday roasts and more which can be eaten at the bar or restaurant. The venue is completely wheelchair accessible, all based on one level, with an accessible toilet. The pub always has special offers/ nights such as curry club and pub quizzes and has a large garden and car park.
 

HOTEL BARS

Sanctum Soho Hotel - Roof Terrace Bar

The intimate Roof Terrace bar in the heart of Soho comprises of three inter-connecting areas. The inside bar, covered lounge with fireplace and adjacent resident’s area.  A small lift from the hotel reception takes you to the bar and there is one unisex toilet with disabled facilities.


Library Bar

This luxurious bar is located on the ground floor of the five- star hotel. You can choose from a variety of seating before having your order taken.  The disabled toilet is just outside the bar, in the lobby.
 

Beaufort Bar

The Savoy, Strand London, WC2R 0EU  MAP 

If you’re looking for a stylish night out, head to the Savoy. The direct route is via a staircase but the helpful staff will take you down to the bar using two lifts. Once in the bar, it is on one level with low tables and waiter service. There is Nightly entertainment and on the first Sunday of every month, the bar plays host to Evenings of Cabaret & Burlesque. As it is a hotel, there are disabled toilets.

Claridge’s Bar

For a spot of luxury, this is the bar to visit. The bar is a short distance from the hotel’s  main entrance,  where the porter will open the ‘normal’ door so you do not have to attempt the revolving one! Once inside the bar, the waiter will show you to a table before returning to take your order. Staff will show you to the accessible bathroom which is also on the same level.

Galvin at Windows Bar

If you are looking for a bit of luxury, the bar at the Hilton, offers you the ultimate VIP treatment. Located on the 28th floor, the bar area is reached by a portable tamp, and has panoramic views of London. A wide drinks menu offers the finest wine, champagne and cocktails, and if you are feeling a bit peckish, a bar menu offers various snacks including, caviar, prawns and olives. The accessible disabled toilet is on the first floor, reached by a lift.
